The Nutley Irish American Association announces parade information and upcoming events which include the 32nd annual parade, in memory of John V. Kelly. Parade day begins with at 10:00 AM with an Irish Memorial Mass at St. Mary's Church, Nutley, NJ. The parade steps off on Saturday March 6th, 2010 at 1:00 PM. The route is from Holy Family Church down Harrison Street to Franklin Avenue, ending at Chestnut Street. Please join the Association afterwards for the post parade party to be held at the Knights of Columbus on Chestnut Street. The festivities start after the parade and include beer, wine, soda, hot dogs and corned beef. Entertainment will be provided featuring Irish and American music. The cost is 25.00 per person for unlimited fun and refreshments. Tickets are 20.00 if purchased in advance and children 14 and under are free.

This year Nutley resident, Jack Kane, is the Grand Marshal. Other dignitaries are: Deputy Grand Marshal, David Hutchinson; the Queen is Danielle Irwin and the Member of the Year is Joe Castles.

Meetings are held the third Thursday of the month at the VFW, 271 Washington Avenue, Nutley at 8:00 PM. New members are welcome.
