37th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade

Sunday, March 13th, 2011

2pm

 The 37th Annual West Hudson Saint Patrick's Day Parade will be one of the largest since our beginning in 1973. With over 50 marching units taking part, the parade has been expanded to 5 divisions. The Grand Marshal and Deputies will be escorted by the award-winning Color Guard of the West Hudson Marine Corps League, the St. Columcille United Gaelic Pipe Band, and accompanied by over 1000 marchers on a parade route through Harrison, East Newark and Kearny.

The Saint Patrick’s Day Parade begins at 3rd Street and Harrison Avenue in Harrison, travels through the Borough of East Newark and ends at Quincy Ave. in Kearny.  United Irish President Kevin M. Quinn said “It is the committee’s pleasure to honor these three deserving individuals.  Together, they have contributed so much to the West Hudson community and I am very proud to have the opportunity and the privilege to walk the parade route with them.”
