Parade day begins with Mass at 10:00am at the Church of the Assumption, off Maple Avenue in Morristown. The parade will start at 12:00 Noon at the corner of South Street and James Street. The parade route is South Street to Atno Avenue.

There will be about 20 bands with about 50,000 in attendance either in the parade or as spectators. Please come and see the largest family oriented St. Patrick’s Day Parade in all of New Jersey. Come celebrate with the Irish and their friends as we recognize their contribution in building a great America.

Held since 1979, this parade honoring Ireland's patron saint is presented by the Irish American Association of Northwest New Jersey, the Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick, and the Trustees of the Saint Patrick's Day Parade. Originally held in Wharton, the parade and attendance at the parade grew too large for the town by 1890, which saw the largest ensemble of marchers and biggest crowd of spectators in its history. Since 1991 it has been held in Morristown.
