New York (NY)
Everyone is Irish at the 12th
Annual St. Patrick’s Parade with the Village of Patchogue Parks and
Recreations Department in conjunction with the Greater Patchogue Foundation
Inc.!
Come celebrate in this
wonderful community event with the 2008 12th Annual St. Patrick’s parade
theme, being: "New smiling Irish tunes on your lips…Nua sparkling
foirgniocht on your main street!" (Translation: New sparkling buildings on
your main street!)
The Parade will consist of: a
full contingency of the counties of Ireland, a various array of Bag-Pipe
Bands, Twirlers, Fire Trucks, Dancers, Creative Themed Floats, and a
multitude of Parade Marchers including Boy Scouts & Girl Scouts troops, with
Grand Marshall Patchogue Village Trustee, Gerry Crean (proudly displaying
the Sash) and past Grand Marshals in the lead of the parade.
The Parade will kick off on
Main Street and will proceed west from Rider Avenue to West Avenue,
beginning promptly at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 30th, 2008. Please arrive
early to obtain a good viewing spot!
