The 5th Annual Sussex County
St. Patrick’s Day Parade is scheduled to be held on Saturday, March 15th,
2008 on Spring Street in the County Seat of Newton, NJ with a start time of
11:30AM. The Parade route will run through downtown Newton, along Spring
Street, ending at Memory Park. The parade will last about one hour.
This years Grand Marshals are Senator
Bob Littell & wife Ginnie, whose time and energy to the community stands alone.

2008 St. Patrick’s Day Grand Marshal’s Dinner
On Saturday, February 23rd,
2008 the 5th Annual Sussex County Grand Marshal’s Dinner will be held
at the Lake Mohawk Country Club in Sparta, NJ. This year’s honorees will be
Senator Bob Littell and wife Ginnie Littell. The dinner will begin at 6:00PM
with a cocktail hour, followed by dinner, entertainment, and a silent auction.
There will be Irish Step Dancers, Bagpipers, and Irish music.
Tickets for the dinner are $75.00 per

2007 Grand Marshal
Glen Vetrano, Freeholder, Sussex County
The 4th Annual Sussex County St. Patrick's Day Parade Bigger and Better than
Ever!
is scheduled to be held in Newton, NJ start time 12 noon.
Newton is the county seat of Sussex County.
The parade route is along the Green Line down the middle of Spring Street.
Grand Marshal's Dinner

<>2007 Grand Marshal is Glen Vetrano, Sussex County Freeholder, who's Irish
roots trace back to Ireland through his mom's family. Glen is a Charter Member
of the parade committee and has been instrumental in the success of our
committee's efforts during the past 3 years!
On Saturday, February 17, 2007, The 4th Annual Sussex County Grand Marshal's
Dinner will be held to Honor Glen, Grand Marshal of the 2007 St. Patrick's Day
Parade.
The Dinner will be held at the Lake Mohawk Country Club, beginning with a
Cocktail Hour at 6 p.m., followed by a dinner with entertainment provided by
Gallagher's School of Irish Step Dancers, Bagpipers, Irish Songsters, Irish
Historian and Lots of Good Craic!
Traditional Irish Breakfast

Plans are underway for a traditional Irish Breakfast on Saturday, March 17th at
the Lyceum of the Immaculate Conception Church in Franklin, NJ.

Saturday, March 10th
A
Concelebrated Mass is planned to be held at St. Joseph's Church, Newton NJ, at 8
a.m on the morning of the Parade.

The
start time is 12:00 noon. The parade route is Spring Street to Memory Park. The
parade should last an hour.

2005 Grand Marshal Steve Oroho, Sussex County Freeholder & Franklin Borough
Councilman. Parade was held in Franklin Borough, NJ. A concelebrated Mass was
held at The Church of The Immaculate Conception, Franklin NJ, followed by a
Traditional Irish Breakfast in the parish hall.
2004 Grand Marshall Monsignor John V. Boland, Pastor St. Francis DeSales Church,
Vernon NJ. Parade was held in Sparta, NJ.

Patrick’s Day Parade, Grand Marshal's Dinner.
Ailish Hambel of
Sparta Township, New Jersey is the parade Grand Marshal.
The parade committee
selected Ailish at our November, 2005 meeting. We selected Ailish for her
tireless dedication to community service, her Irish Heritage; she is a
native of County Cork in Ireland and for her dedication as a civil servant.
Ailish is the Mayor of Sparta Township.
Join us at a dinner in
her honor on the evening of Saturday, February 25, 2006 at the Lake Mohawk
Country Club, Sparta, New Jersey.
Tickets for the dinner

It will be an evening
of “Good Craic”, including Irish Music, Step Dancing and Bagpipes.

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Sussex
County!
The St. Patrick’s Day
Parade Committee and The Ancient Order of Hibernians-Sussex County Division
1, St. Oliver Plunkett Division present the Third Annual Sussex County St.
Patrick’s Day Parade.
The parade will be in
Newton on Saturday, March 11, 2006. The parade, scheduled to begin at 12
Noon, will step off down Spring Street and end at Memory Park.
Join state, county and
local dignitaries along with police, fire Ems and a variety of marchers in
celebration of a “Great Day for the Irish and a Great Day for all citizens
of Sussex County.”
Please note that
there will be a pre-parade Mass at St. Joseph's R.C. Church beginning at
8:00 a.m. followed by a Traditional Irish Breakfast in the gym at St.
Joseph's School.
