South Boston is Boston's most Irish neighborhood and has a glorious tradition of helping others while keeping Irish heritage alive. Ireland on Parade Concert

Acclaimed singer Patricia Brady is performing two shows on St. Patrick's Day eve with an all-star cast of musicians, singers and dancers. Known as the Irish Nightingale and praised by the New York Times for her "sweetness and purity of tone," Brady was named one of the "100 Outstanding Irish-Americans." in 2000 by Irish America Magazine. Ms. Brady has traveled around the world as a performer of classical, popular and traditional melodies. She is being joined at the Ireland on Parade concert by Highland piper Matt McArthur, and the Greene-O'Leary School of Irish Dance. Also appearing are the Collegiate Choir from Stonehill College and the Concert Choir from Oliver Ames High School, directed by Charlene Dalrymple. Ms. Brady's concert typically includes some of Ireland's most mellifluous melodies by composers like Thomas Moore, James L. Molloy, Chauncy Olcott and others. Worcester St. Patrick's Day Parade
Mill Street, Worcester
 The 22nd annual St. Patrick's Day Parade celebrates the Irish of Central Massachusetts, who began settling in the Worcester area as early as 1718. In 1825 Irish immigrants came to Worcester to build the city's canals and roadways, and the community flourished thereafter. The parade begins at Mill Street and ends at Highland Street. Abington St. Patrick’s Day Parade
This year Abington celebrates the 25th anniversary of its St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The parade includes 20-25 floats and decorated vehicles, 300 marchers, and a variety of marching bands. The parade begins at St. Patrick's Square, in Abington Center (corner of Orange and Washington Streets) and ends in North Abington Center. The parade is supported by the South Shore Irish American Society.

Boston's St. Patrick's Day Parade
South Boston - Southie's 104th annual parade takes place the Sunday after St. Patrick's Day. This year's parade celebrates the 200th anniversary of the incorporation of South Boston (1804-2004). The parade features marching bands and pipe bands throughout North America including the Boston Police Gaelic Column of Pipes and Drums (pictured right). South Boston is Boston's most Irish neighborhood and has a glorious tradition of helping others while keeping Irish heritage alive.(1:00 p.m.)617 258-7955

Holyoke St. Patrick's Day Parade
Downtown Holyoke - The 53rd annual Holyoke Parade is reckoned to be one of the largest in the nation. The parade is the culmination of numerous Irish events in March that celebrate the Irish community of western Massachusetts, many of whom emigrated from County Kerry and the Blasket Islands in the 20th century. Scituate's 11th annual St. Patrick's Day parade is popular among the South Shore and Cape Cod communities. The parade ends at scenic Scituate Harbor.
